Job summary

Invesco seeks a Senior Principal, Fund Assurance to provide independent oversight across mutual funds, ETFs, and complex products, strengthening governance and risk management.

The role drives a scalable assurance framework, advancing data analytics with automation and the ABOR data platform to support accurate NAV reporting. You will collaborate with auditors, TPAs, custodians, and technology teams to improve controls and resilience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years in fund accounting, oversight, or assurance with mutual funds and ETFs.
• Advanced understanding of NAV calculation, pricing, and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting audits, SOX controls, and regulatory reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead as senior assurance point for complex fund accounting across funds, ETFs, and alternatives.
• Apply independent judgment on accounting and control issues per GAAP and policy.
• Drive SQP tools: issue log, open items, KPIs, sentiment indexes.
• Collaborate with Fund Assurance leadership and stakeholders to reinforce controls.
• Advise on accounting implications of derivatives and non-standard pricing.
• Promote automation and ABOR data platform enhancements.
• Support fund launches, reorganizations, mergers, liquidations, and model changes.
• Provide expert review of NAVs, financial statements, distributions, regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with auditors, TPAs, custodians, and data teams.
• Identify root causes and lead remediation for risks.
