Transamerica Asset Management, a division of Aegon Asset Management, is seeking a Fund Accountant to oversee fund administration, reporting, accounting, and custody functions. The role requires collaboration with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s in accounting/finance, five years of experience, and strong Excel (VBA) skills, with excellent communication and attention to detail. Denver hybrid work arrangement and comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or financial services related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• Generally five years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient Microsoft Word and Excel skills (fundamental Visual Basic skills specifically related to use of Excel macros).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of SEC financial accounting and reporting requirements.

Responsabilités

• Oversee service providers and review monthly/quarterly financial reporting and accounting for funds, ETFs, and related companies.
• Review semi-annual and annual regulatory reporting to the SEC, shareholders, and regulators.
• Prepare and review Board of Trustee reports.
• Support audits of the funds, including PBC documents and audit confirmations.
• Handle daily financial reporting and NAV oversight.
• Develop process procedures and controls for accounting operations.
• Oversee fund administration, fund accounting and custody functions and review budgets and payments.
• Perform special assignments as requested.
