Belltower Funds, a division of AngelList, seeks a Fund Accounting Senior Manager in New York. You will oversee accounting, valuation, and reporting for thousands of funds, coordinate with external auditors, and drive process improvements.

A CPA and strong US GAAP expertise are highly valued, with leadership responsibilities across a growing team. You will work from our offices in NYC or SF with a hybrid schedule, contributing to automation efforts and ensuring timely fund audits and accurate

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in investment company accounting with CPA preferred.
• Experience with US GAAP (ASC 946, ASC 820) and fund accounting.
• Experience liaising with external auditors and SOC 1 processes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to coach a team.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee accounting for investment funds and ensure accurate reporting.
• Lead production of financial statements and footnotes for funds.
• Collaborate with auditors and cross-functional teams on audits.
• Develop processes to improve controls and drive automation with engineering.
• Mentor managers and senior accountants and review valuations.
