We are representing a well established private equity firm located in the Fort Worth Area in their search for a Senior Fund Accountant. This is a newly created position due to growth and launching of new funds. Please see below for a few details.

Reports To: Controller

Responsibilities:

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for assigned funds, including preparation and review of NAV packages and financial statements.
• Prepare journal entries, capital account allocations, waterfall models, and partner statements in accordance with fund agreements.
• Liaise with fund administrators to ensure timely and accurate reporting deliverables.
• Review capital activity, including subscriptions, redemptions, distributions, and calls.
• Valuation Support
• Review quarterly valuation materials across asset classes (private credit, equity, structured products).
• Coordinate with investment professionals and third-party valuation providers to validate assumptions and methodologies.
• Ensure alignment with ASC 820 and internal valuation policies.
• Maintain and document valuation memos and audit support files.
• Broker/Dealer & Regulatory Coordination
• Collaborate with the internal broker/dealer team on investor onboarding, compliance, and reporting deliverables.
• Provide support for FINRA and SEC-related filings and data requests.
• Help prepare offering documents, performance reporting, and investor materials.
• Support internal controls related to fund distribution and investment product structuring.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred.
• 4 + years of relevant experience, ideally within public accounting (alternative investments audit) and/or fund accounting at an asset manager.
• Strong understanding of investment fund structures (LP/GP, feeder funds, parallel vehicles) and waterfall allocations.
• Familiarity with valuation techniques and ASC 820 fair value hierarchy.
• Experience working with private funds distributed via broker/dealers is a plus.
• Advanced Excel; experience with Investran, eFront, or similar platforms is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
