Our client—a well-established firm in the financial services industry—is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their high-performing team. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review NAV calculations and financial statements for various investment vehicles (e.g., hedge funds, private equity, or mutual funds)
• Reconcile cash, portfolio positions, and investor transactions
• Coordinate and review work prepared by junior accountants or third-party administrators
• Assist with audit and tax support, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Analyze fund performance and support investment reporting processes
• Collaborate with operations, investor relations, and compliance teams

Ideal Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus)
• 3–6+ years of fund accounting experience, preferably within asset management or a public accounting firm servicing investment clients
• Solid understanding of investment structures, GAAP, and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with fund accounting software (e.g., Investran) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
