Position Overview:

A well-established investment management firm is seeking a Fund Accountant to support its accounting and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in investment fund operations, a strong understanding of financial instruments, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting for investment partnerships and separately managed accounts
• Reconcile daily transactions with custodians or brokers
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly with internal and external stakeholders
• Review and ensure accuracy of monthly valuation reports and financial statements
• Prepare financial statements and performance analysis for various investment vehicles
• Facilitate cash movements, including wires and check disbursements
• Support audits of investment accounts by coordinating with auditors
• Participate in pricing and review of portfolio assets, including complex securities
• Monitor and process bank loan transactions
• Conduct and resolve issues in daily cash reconciliations
• Collaborate with administrators to provide insights into loan-related deals
• Initiate cash wires tied to trading activity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 2–3 years of experience in public accounting or investment accounting
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
