Senior Fund Accountant/Assistant Fund Controller - $50+ Billion Dallas Alternative Asset Manager

$50+ Billion Global Alternative Asset Manager Seeks a Fund Accountant/Assistant Fund Controller to Join its Team

Reporting to the VP Fund Accounting

  1. Assist with accounting responsibilities within the monthly, quarterly, annual closing cycles
  2. Assist in preparation of consolidated monthly financial reporting package including financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
  3. Review and analyze the allocation of expenses across all of the management companies and funds; waterfall calculations
  4. Assist with quarterly distribution process; prepare wire transfers as necessary
  5. Post daily cash transactions and reconcile accounts/Fund Accounting
  6. Prepare monthly accrual and close journal entries
  7. Maintain fixed asset ledger, perform all depreciation calculations
  8. Help develop and maintain efficient internal controls and business processes
  9. Interface as necessary with external auditors and service providers
  10. Special Projects for the CFO

Qualifications:

  1. 3-6 years of public accounting (with Financial Services Clients) or Fund Accounting experience at Another Alternative Asset Manager

Salary: $90,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr plus a Strong Bonus and Excellent Benefits. Tremendous Opportunity for Growth. This is one of the Fastest Growing Global Alternative Asset Managers in Dallas. The role is on a Hybrid Schedule.
