Job summary

Toast New Ventures is seeking a genuine full‑stack builder who feels comfortable on backend services, APIs, data models, web front ends, and our Android apps. You’ll own features end-to-end and ship production code, with a bias toward customer impact and fast iteration.

You’ll operate across Java/Kotlin backend (or similar), React frontend, and learn new platforms as needed, collaborating with a small team.

Qualifications

• Track record of shipping meaningful product to real users.
• Own features from backend to client; can discuss both ends.
• Strong backend fundamentals (Java/Kotlin or similar).
• Experience with modern web frontend (React) and learning new platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end across the stack: backend services, APIs, data models, web front ends, and Android apps.
• Get up to speed on unfamiliar platforms and codebases quickly.
• Be customer‑minded and willing to contribute a point of view on what we build.
• Collaborate with a small cross‑functional team to ship fast and reliably.
• Deliver high-quality code with ownership, testing, instrumentation, and on‑call readiness.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and drive productivity.
