Job summary

SGS is seeking a Principal Engineer with a Full Stack & Platform mandate to own architecture and hands-on delivery for our flagship products. You will lead from frontend to backend, shaping the platform and reusable components while mentoring senior engineers.

You will collaborate with Product and Design to ship user-friendly interfaces and scalable services, contributing to observability and quality through modern tooling and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product engineering and platform/SRE work.
• Strong React/TypeScript frontend mastery and distributed backend experience.
• Experience architecting cloud-native, scalable, observable systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead architect and hands-on builder for flagship customer-facing products.
• Own frontend to backend architecture and write code when needed.
• Shape the platform with reusable components, paving road for engineers.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive architecture discussions to remove friction.
