ALSO is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own a capability from data model to screen, not just frontend or backend. You will design and ship backend microservices for scale and reliability, then build customer web and partner portals, admin consoles, and internal tooling.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating production backend services with real versioning and backward compatibility.
• Data modeling and schema design across relational and non-relational stores with AWS exposure.
• Event-driven architecture in production (Kafka, SQS/SNS, Redis) and container orchestration.
• On-call production ownership and reliability-focused mindset.
• Nice to have Go language experience and real-time systems familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend microservices for secure, scalable connected-vehicle and fleet infrastructure — end to end ownership (data model, service, API contract, interface, instrumentation).
• Build the platform surfaces: customer web app, developer/partner portals, admin/config consoles, and internal tooling.
• Improve core platform infra: API design, database schema, service interactions, observability, deployment workflows; contribute to API gateway, caching, auth.
• Build integrations with external services and partner platforms with maintainable contracts.
• Establish frontend foundations: shared UI primitives, data-fetching conventions for internal tools.
• Turn telemetry into fast, usable interfaces under high load; ensure production readiness via automated testing and monitoring.
