Job summary

MAP SSG is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack for a fully remote role based in the United States. You will design, build, and scale user-facing web applications with strong backend and frontend expertise, partnering with product, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will own end-to-end features from technical design to rollout, mentori ng engineers, and maintaining a user-centric mindset to drive meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-stack experience shipping production web apps.
• Backend services and APIs using REST and/or GraphQL.
• Frontend development in React with component design, state management, and performance optimization.
• Designing systems with service-to-service communication (synchronous and asynchronous).
• Relational databases experience, especially PostgreSQL, including schema design and data modeling.
• End-to-end feature ownership from design through rollout and iteration.
• Collaborating with product managers and designers in a product development environment.
• Strong focus on user experience, product quality and customer impact.
• Immigration sponsorship not available; must have work authorization for duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Define and build features with product managers and designers to meet real user needs.
• Connect backend systems with frontend experiences to deliver end-to-end features.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs (REST/GraphQL) and inter-service communication.
• Build frontend components using modern frameworks (React), focusing on usability and performance.
• Model and manage data in PostgreSQL with clean schema design.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and choose pragmatic solutions.
• Mentor engineers and uphold engineering standards and team culture.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure successful feature delivery and rollout.
