Job summary

SGS is seeking a Principal Engineer with Full Stack & Platform focus to own the architecture and hands-on delivery of our flagship products. You’ll lead frontend design (React/TypeScript) and backend services, shaping interfaces customers love.

Your dual mission is to build a scalable, observable platform—defining the paved road (CI/CD, Kubernetes, IaC), reusable components, and patterns—while mentoring engineers and accelerating the team’s velocity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product engineering and platform/SRE work.
• Ability to write code across frontend and backend.
• Experience designing distributed cloud-native systems.
• Proven collaboration with Product and Design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and hands-on development for customer-facing products.
• Shape platform capabilities like design system and reusable services.
• Define end-to-end engineering quality and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive velocity.
• Ensure observability and reliability across services.
