Job summary

Alpaca, a US-headquartered leader in broker- infrastructure powering millions of traders, seeks a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design, implement, and maintain systems that enable trading of billions of dollars in assets.

You will join the Trading API team, shaping frontend dashboards and backend services, focusing on scalable architectures, high-quality UX, and close collaboration with users and stakeholders, while enabling a fast, secure developer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with Go and TypeScript/React.
• Proficient in TypeScript and React; HTML/CSS (Tailwind).
• Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and REST APIs.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop full-stack software across the stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and backend systems.
• Contribute to API design and product features.
• Own delivery of high-visibility features from design to deployment.
• Mentor peers and influence technical strategy.
