Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver scalable cloud solutions for a healthcare platform. You will lead and mentor teams, work across domains, and ensure performance, security, and reliability across 49+ countries.

The role emphasizes Go and React expertise, RESTful APIs, microservices, and collaboration with InfoSec and architecture teams. Remote within the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related engineering discipline) and/or equivalent training & work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience in an Agile environment, including time in residency programs.
• Full stack development in Go, React, Node, Javascript, HTML, CSS and JSX.

Responsibilities

• Learn and improve existing React and Go based healthcare platforms.
• Design and implement services, features, and components using React, Node and Go.
• Develop high-volume, low-latency services for a global health care platform.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to integrate APIs for data sharing.
• Write maintainable, unit-testable code and participate in Agile teams.
