Abbott is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale a modern SaaS cloud platform serving users in 49+ countries. You will guide technical direction, mentor teams, and deliver secure, highly available microservices.

The role emphasizes Go, React, Node, RESTful APIs, and TDD practices within an Agile environment, with remote work within the United States and opportunities to contribute across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent training & work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience in an Agile environment.
• Full stack development experience in Go, React, Node, Javascript, HTML, CSS and JSX.
• Strong CS fundamentals and experience with software development.

Responsibilities

• Learn and improve our existing React and Go based health care platforms.
• Design and implement services, features, and components utilizing React, Node and Go.
• Develop high-volume, low-latency services for a global health care platform.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to integrate APIs and share data.
• Design and implement maintainable, testable code and ensure security with InfoSec.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and build internal tooling and APIs.
