Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years building production software, with principal/staff level experience.
• Hands-on coding role; architectural input and decision-making are expected.
• Experience with cloud-hosted document databases (Firestore, MongoDB, DynamoDB or similar).

Responsibilities

• Write production code daily and build the hardest parts of the platform.
• Design and build APIs and services the platform depends on.
• Mentor engineers through code review and standards setting.
• Ensure security, FERPA compliance considerations, and reliable deployments.
