Job summary

Slater Infrastructure Group is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer for a 100% remote, senior-level role. You will own delivery across the front end and back end, write production code daily and help shape architectural direction with the Chief Technology & Business Officer.

This is a hands-on position where you mentor engineers, establish coding standards, and design robust APIs across React, Express and Firestore/MongoDB/DynamoDB.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building production software.
• Proven architecture leadership for production systems.
• Experience with cloud-hosted document databases (Firestore, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Shipped features using generative AI APIs (Claude).
• Hands-on coding mindset, not seeking management.

Responsibilities

• Write production code daily across front-end and back-end components.
• Design and build APIs and services the platform depends on.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Define and enforce coding standards and release processes.
• Collaborate with CTBO on architecture and technology direction.
