Job summary

Agentica is hiring a senior full‑stack engineer to own client projects and new features across the full stack, focusing on Python backends (80%) and TypeScript frontends (20%). You’ll design data models, APIs, and system boundaries for production systems, with emphasis on reliability and data sensitivity.

You’ll work with PostgreSQL, Kafka, and modern frontend tech (TypeScript, React, Vite), participate in code reviews, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Remote or hybrid work from Warsaw is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production web applications.
• Strong Python, with focus on backend development.
• Relational databases with PostgreSQL and SQL; NoSQL not used.
• Experience with event-driven systems and message queues (Kafka).
• System design ability to build end-to-end solutions.
• Independent, proactive owner mentality.
• Experience with AI tools like Claude for productivity.
• Strong TypeScript and React experience.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Clear communication and a strong sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own projects end to end, from scoping through delivery.
• Take part in system design: data models, service boundaries, and how components communicate.
• Work closely with the business team on scope and the tech team on architecture.
• Build and maintain web applications using TypeScript, React, and Vite on the frontend.
• Build and maintain Python / FastAPI backends, including APIs, auth, and data models.
• Work with PostgreSQL: schema design, complex queries, and versioned migrations.
• Build against event-driven components and message queues (e.g., Kafka): producing, consuming, and handling retries, ordering, and at‑least‑once semantics.
• Participate in code review and contribute to technical documentation.
• Read, run, and fix CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions or similar tools.
