Job summary

Thinkahead is hiring a remote Senior Full Stack Engineer in the USA. You will own features across backend Python services (REST/GraphQL) and frontend React UI, with AI/LLM workflow integration and strong focus on secure, scalable delivery.

You should have 7+ years in software engineering, deep Python production experience, and hands-on agentic AI tooling. This role emphasizes collaboration, iterative delivery, and production-grade code quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering with Python production services
• Hands-on with agentic coding harnesses used in production
• Experience with LLMs or AI services like AWS Bedrock / OpenAI / Anthropic
• Strong API design experience (REST/JSON; GraphQL a plus)
• Data modeling, persistence, and integration (SQL/NoSQL)
• Frontend proficiency with React (Vue/Angular acceptable)
• Experience with cloud-native development on AWS and CI/CD
• Knowledge of secure coding, OAuth/OIDC, RBAC, observability
• Comfort with agile delivery, Jira, and collaboration tools

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend Python services including REST/GraphQL APIs
• Implement and integrate AI/LLM-powered workflows (RAG, agentic flows)
• Integrate services across the agentic platform stack
• Translate designs into responsive frontend UI with React
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineers; estimate and deliver iteratively
• Write readable, testable code with unit/integration tests; code reviews
• Maintain engineering standards, tooling, and secure CI/CD for AI workloads
• Diagnose and resolve cross-stack issues; stay ahead on AI skills
• Own end-to-end feature delivery from API design to UI
