Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks a Principal Engineer I - Full Stack Developer for its Digital Assets platform in a high-volume, secure environment. You will drive architecture across front-end ReactJS, .NET back-end, and microservices, ensuring scalability and reliability while aligning with DevSecOps practices.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and mentorship of junior engineers, with a focus on payment channel applications and cloud-based data

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Mulesoft development experience.
• Mulesoft Certification.
• Bachelor's degree in related field; Masters preferred.
• Leadership experience desirable.
• Financial services or banking domain knowledge preferred.
• Strong regulatory/compliance familiarity.
• Proven cross-functional leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop high-performance payment channel apps focused on security and scalability.
• Lead front-end development using ReactJS and ensure responsive UIs.
• Implement .NET backend concepts including async, multi-threading, DI, and API optimization.
• Design and manage RESTful and GraphQL APIs with authentication and rate limiting.
• Develop and manage microservices with event-driven patterns and containers.
• Ensure performance with caching, indexing, and load balancing.
• Manage Azure Cosmos DB data modeling, partitioning, and query tuning.
• Apply DevSecOps practices with CI/CD and IaC deployment.
• Enforce secure coding, OWASP practices, and identity management.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence.
