Schwab is seeking a Sr Specialist Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable technology solutions on site in Southlake, TX. You will work in an Agile environment with product owners, architects, and engineers to translate complex needs into reliable apps, APIs, and distributed systems.

You’ll influence design, improve quality through testing and reviews, and drive reliability, performance, security, and operations readiness.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience developing enterprise applications.
• Experience building web applications, APIs, and distributed solutions.
• Programming experience with .NET, .NET Core, or C#, and/or Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and Angular or other modern UI frameworks.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms and containerized environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control systems, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
