Charles Schwab Corporation seeks a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to design, build, and deliver secure, scalable enterprise applications. You will own the full SDLC, lead end-to-end delivery, and mentor engineers in an Agile environment.

You will work on-site in Southlake, Texas, collaborating with product owners, architects, and UX teams to craft robust solutions and champion secure coding practices across the CI/CD pipeline.

Formación

• 8+ years of hands-on software development delivering scalable Java applications and services.
• 8+ years of Front-end design and development experience, preferably Angular or React.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of Java web and service development with Java/Spring and Spring Boot.
• 6+ years developing Microservices and REST APIs, with Kafka knowledge.
• 6+ years front-end experience with HTML, JSP, NPM/webpack, and Angular.
• 5+ years with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, GitHub).
• 5+ years in Agile scrum teams; sprint planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, PI planning.
• 4+ years leading technical teams and roadmaps.
• GenAI coding assistants exposure (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) in SDLC.
• Knowledge of agentic workflows and prompt engineering for AI-assisted development.
• Strong secure coding practices and app security concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and deliver secure, high-performing enterprise Java applications and services.
• Own work from analysis and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of features and services and guide technical direction on complex items.
• Conduct code reviews, clarify requirements, and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with UX, delivery managers, and scrum leaders to shape thoughtful designs and sizing estimates.
