Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Sr Specialist Software Development Engineer in Texas to design, develop, and support scalable solutions. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and engineers in an Agile environment to translate complex needs into reliable APIs and distributed systems.

You will influence design, improve quality with testing and code reviews, and troubleshoot production issues while driving automation, CD, and AI-assisted tooling across onshore and offshore

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience developing enterprise applications.
• Experience building web applications, APIs, and distributed solutions using modern software development practices.
• Programming experience with .NET, .NET Core, or C#, and/or Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and Angular or other modern UI frameworks.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms and containerized environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
