Job summary

LMI is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to support IronGate, a mission-ready data acquisition and transfer platform built for federal environments. You will work on UI workflows with Angular/React and API/DB layers, delivering secure, scalable capabilities with governance and visibility.

This hands-on role emphasizes production systems, devsecops, and CI/CD, with modern tech such as Spark, Elasticsearch, Kong, and FastAPI/Flask. US citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience in production environments.
• Experience with full stack JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Proven experience developing React-based frontends in production.
• Active Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features for IronGate using Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.
• Design and develop React-based frontend components and ensure interoperability with Angular components.
• Develop and document RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models for performance and reliability.
• Operate in a Kubernetes-based architecture and manage containerized services.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing across the stack.
• Support secure coding practices and DevSecOps integration.
• Collaborate on architecture decisions and future tech adoption.
