Job summary

LMI Government Consulting seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to supportIronGate, a mission-ready data acquisition and transfer platform for federal environments. Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proven full-stack development with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Experience with React production frontends.
• Frontend: Angular/TypeScript; React integration.
• Backend: Node.js/Express; OpenAPI/Swagger.
• PostgreSQL, SQL, indexing and query optimization.
• Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud deployments.
• Security clearance: Active Secret required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features for IronGate using Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and Express, spanning UI workflows, API development, and data persistence.
• Design and build React-based frontend components and ensure interoperability with Angular components.
• Develop RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger for secure, well-structured services used by IronGate frontend and external integrations.
• Model data in PostgreSQL with indexing and performance tuning for IL5/IL6 environments.
• Work within a Kubernetes architecture to containerize, deploy, and operate backend services and cron jobs.
• Enhance frontend UX with Angular and React, building reusable, responsive components for mission users.
• Support data integration via Airbyte and related ETL pipelines for assets, threats, and operations data.
• Collaborate on security and resilience with AWS GuardDuty and DevSecOps practices.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions to shape API contracts and modular designs.
• Support AI-assisted development with guardrails and validation for production-ready code.
• Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Troubleshoot performance and ensure high availability in containerized environments.
• Contribute to future architecture with Spark, Elasticsearch, Kong, and Python APIs.
