Job description

Overview

LMI is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the team supportingIronGate, a mission-ready data acquisition and transfer platform built for complex federal environments. It enables agencies to securely acquire commercial data and bring it into government networks through a self-service UI portal or direct-to-network push with full visibility, governance, and compliance at every step. You’ll work across the stack—from AngularandReactr-based UI workflows to Node/Express APIs and PostgreSQL data models—helping us deliver secure, scalable capabilities that support cyber threat detection, asset protection, and operational decision-making.

You’ll collaborate closely with product owners, designers,DevSecOps, and fellow engineers to iterate quickly on features, modernize existing components, and shape the future architecture as we incorporate technologies like Spark, Hudi, Elasticsearch, and Kong. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building and operating production systems, not just prototypes. An active Secret security clearance is required.

LMI is a new breed of digital solutions provider dedicated to accelerating government impact with innovation and speed. Investing in technology and prototypes ahead of need, LMI brings commercial-grade platforms and mission-ready AI to federal agencies at commercial speed.

Leveraging our mission-ready technology and solutions, proven expertise in federal deployment, and strategic relationships, we enhance outcomes for the government, efficiently and effectively. With a focus on agility and collaboration, LMI serves the defense, space, healthcare, and energy sectors—helping agencies navigate complexity and outpace change. Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.
