Job summary

LMI Government Consulting seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to join IronGate, a mission-ready data acquisition and transfer platform for federal environments. You’ll work across the stack—from Angular and React-based UIs to Node/Express APIs and PostgreSQL data models—helping us deliver secure, scalable capabilities for cyber threat detection and operational decision-making.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience in production environments.
• Proven full-stack development experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Proven experience developing React-based frontends for production.
• Strong frontend skills with Angular and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience building React applications (hooks, components, state, routing).
• Active Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features using Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and Express across UI, APIs, and data persistence.
• Design and develop React-based frontend components while ensuring interoperability with Angular components.
• Develop and document RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger for secure, structured services.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models, indexing, and queries.
• Operate within a Kubernetes-based architecture and containerized services; support cron-style jobs.
• Enhance frontend UX and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
