Job summary

LMI Government Consulting is seeking a mid–senior Platform Engineer to own the IronGate ETL platform in AWS. You will design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure, automate delivery, and implement security and monitoring for reliable data pipelines.

This role focuses on Infrastructure-as-Code, scalable CI/CD, and close collaboration with product teams to translate requirements into robust platform solutions while ensuring compliance and secure configuration management.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of platform/DevOps or cloud engineering experience.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in AWS.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Experience implementing security best practices in cloud environments.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch or equivalent).
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and data storage concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deploy across dev, staging, prod.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure (S3, IAM, VPC, networking) for secure data transfer and movement.
• Migrate manual setups to Infrastructure-as-Code for repeatable environments.
• Apply security best practices including access control and encryption.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for system health visibility.
