Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a seasoned Full Stack Developer to design and build complex applications for federal clients. You will work across front-end and back-end stacks, emphasizing scalable web interfaces and robust back-end services.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of experience in web development, strong TS/Node/Angular/React skills, familiarity with AWS, DevOps practices, and the ability to thrive in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent).
• 5–10 years of coding or web development experience.
• Hands-on with TypeScript, Node.js, Angular and React.
• Experience with web services: SOAP, REST, XML, JSON.
• Experience with NoSQL databases; AWS DynamoDB is a plus.
• Strong OO design and DevOps culture.
• Identifies reusable functionality and builds reusable components.
• Knowledge of IT standards, SDLC and project management frameworks.
• Experience with GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube.
• Experience with AWS services; AWS SDKs a plus.
• US permanent residents able to obtain Public Trust; 3 of last 5 years in US.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical and business teams to develop and maintain solutions in agile environments.
• Design and develop applications with focus on simplicity, reliability, scalability and re-use.
• Adhere to coding standards and participate in code reviews.
• Participate in sprint planning to estimate and commit to user stories.
• Troubleshoot issues with existing applications.
• Design, build, maintain and test infrastructure.
• Develop a modern responsive UI for microservices-based web apps.
• Leverage latest tools and techniques in web UI/UX development.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Support documentation, program requirements and metrics.
• Collect and analyze data for forecasts, assessments and reports.
• Contribute to project timelines, design specs, diagrams, testing and support.
• Prepare technical and user documentation and training materials.
