Job summary

ASM Research seeks a seasoned Full Stack Developer to design and build complex applications for federal clients. You will collaborate across teams, implement scalable solutions, and ensure code quality through reviews and best practices.

The role emphasizes modern web UI development for microservices, AWS-based infrastructure, and strong problem-solving in an Agile environment. Candidates must meet clearance and US residency requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5–10 years of programming or web development experience.
• Hands-on with TypeScript, Node.js, Angular and React.
• Experience with web services (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON).
• Familiarity with NoSQL and AWS DynamoDB is a plus.
• Strong OO, DevOps culture, and reusable component thinking.
• Experience with GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube.
• Knowledge of AWS SDKs and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Must have lived in the United States 3 of the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical and business teams to develop and maintain solutions using Agile.
• Design and develop apps prioritizing simplicity, reliability, scalability and reuse.
• Adhere to coding standards and participate in code reviews.
• Participate in sprint planning to estimate stories and commit to them weekly.
• Troubleshoot issues in existing apps and support required fixes.
• Design, build, test and maintain infrastructure and API/web components.
• Develop modern, responsive UI for microservices-based web apps.
• Leverage current UI/UX development tools and techniques.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs and diagrams.
• Draft technical documentation and assist with project metrics and analysis.
