Job summary

ASM Research, an Accenture Federal Services company, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design and build complex federal government applications. You will collaborate across teams, develop scalable web UI for microservices, and implement best practices across the SDLC.

Requirements include 5–10 years of programming with TS/Node/Angular/React, RESTful services, and AWS. A Public Trust clearance and US residency within the past 3 of 5 years are required.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of programming or web development experience.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, front-end frameworks, such as Angular and React, and Node.js back-end application frameworks.
• Experience with web services (SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON, etc.).
• Understanding of NoSQL databases, and experience with AWS DynamoDB is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of Object-Oriented principles (Analysis and Design), DevOps culture.
• Identifies reusable functionality and implements it as a reusable component.
• Knowledge of IT standards, methodologies, system development life cycle and project management frameworks.
• Exposure to and familiarity with various industries and specific operational solutions and tools.
• Demonstrable experience with: GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube, etc.
• Experience in designing solutions using one or more Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledge of AWS SDKs is a plus.
• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical and business teams to develop and maintain solutions.
• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and reusable web applications.
• Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews.
• Participate in sprint planning and story point estimation.
• Troubleshoot issues in existing applications.
• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure; monitor and test it.
• Develop modern, responsive UIs for microservices-based apps.
• Utilize current web UI/UX development tools and techniques.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Prepare technical documentation and training materials.
• Support IT program requirements, metrics, data quality, and analysis.
• Collect and analyze data to inform forecasts and recommendations.
• Contribute to project timelines, design specs, diagrams, testing, and support.
• Document technical diagrams and implementation details.
