Job summary

ASM Research seeks a Full Stack Developer to design and build complex applications for federal government clients. You will work with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver scalable web UI and microservices-based solutions.

The role requires TypeScript/Node.js, Angular/React, AWS, and DevOps practices with a focus on reusable components, code quality, and documentation. US residency and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance are required, with strong collaboration across

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
5-10 years of programming or web development experience.
Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, front-end frameworks such as Angular and React.
Experience with web services (SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON).
Understanding of NoSQL databases; AWS DynamoDB is a plus.
Thorough understanding of Object-Oriented principles and DevOps culture.
Experience with GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube.
Experience in designing solutions using AWS.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Must have lived in the United States 3 of the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

Works collaboratively with technical and business team members to develop solutions following agile practices.
Designs and develops applications with emphasis on simplicity, reliability, scalability, and re-use.
Follows coding standards; participates in code reviews.
Participates in sprint planning and estimates user stories.
Supports troubleshooting of existing applications.
Designs, builds, maintains, monitors, and tests infrastructure.
Develops a modern, responsive web UI for microservices-based applications.
Utilizes latest web UI/UX tools and techniques.
Translates business requirements into technical specs.
Prepares technical documentation and training materials.
Supports IT program requirements and data quality analyses.
Collects/analyzes data for forecasts, assessments, and reports.
Contributes to project timelines, design specs, and testing.
