Averity in New York is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a founder-adjacent engineering team and own critical features end-to-end. You will work across Python backends and React front-ends, building APIs, data models, and AI-powered workflows while shipping high-impact capabilities in a fast-growing environment.

You’ll collaborate with founders, customers, and domain experts, shaping where AI belongs in the product and driving reliable, scalable software delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features end-to-end across Python backend services and React applications.
• Develop APIs, data models, infrastructure and data-ingestion workflows.
• Work on LLM and agentic systems for extraction, mapping and automation.
• Improve reliability and observability across AI-powered workflows.
• Partner closely with founders, customers and domain experts.
• Help shape where AI belongs in the product — and where it doesn’t.
