Job summary

Sophia Learning is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and support mission-critical applications powering the learning platform. You will own technical decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.

You’ll help drive AI-assisted workflows and efficient delivery. You will contribute across the stack, ensure quality, and participate in releases, testing plans, and production support.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing across all tiers of modern web applications.
• Strong understanding of OO programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL; familiarity with NoSQL.
• Experience with AWS or GCP infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver full-stack features across our web applications, spanning database, backend, and UI layers.
• Own end-to-end ownership of features from direction to production health.
• Promote scalable patterns and best practices; mentor engineers.
