Anthropic is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build the technical foundation for educating customers and enterprises at scale, shaping how AI is delivered as part of the learning experience.

You'll own the platform layer, data architecture, AI-augmented pipelines, and integrations, partnering with educators to deliver scalable educational experiences. This role emphasizes pedagogy-driven decisions and secure, scalable design.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with platform-scale impact.
• Demonstrated passion for education and AI-native learning.
• Strong eye for quality educational content and scalable systems.
• Full-stack skills with emphasis on backend reliability, databases, APIs, and auth.
• Experience building platforms serving many concurrent users.
• Ability to translate pedagogy into robust technical architecture.
• Comfort working with security, infrastructure, and data teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and own Anthropic’s enterprise education platform and infrastructure (authentication/SSO, learner data models, content delivery, credentialing, progress tracking).
• Own the technical vision for AI-driven educational experiences and what to build, extend, or replace as needed.
• Build AI-augmented pipelines for content generation, real-time adaptation, assessment delivery, and QA with educators.
• Design platform capabilities for adaptive paths, competency-based progression, and AI-evaluated demonstrations of skill.
• Interface with security, infrastructure, and data teams to meet standards and integrate with existing architecture.
• Create platform abstractions enabling non-engineers to configure and experiment without bottlenecks.
• Make product-level decisions shaping the learning experience, not just serving it.
