Job summary

Peraton is delivering advanced mission planning and digital engineering for the U.S. Government space communications enterprise. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will design and develop core platform services supporting secure satellite ground communications and data transport.

You will build backend services in Python, APIs, and frontend components with TypeScript, while aligning with MBSE requirements and program objectives. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Requires 8+ years of software engineering experience with backend and frontend development.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize relational databases and APIs.
• Security clearance TS/SCI with ability to upgrade is required.

Responsibilities

• Build multi-tenant backend services on public cloud platforms (AWS).
• Architect, develop, and consume APIs and backend services with emphasis on security and maintainability.
• Develop frontend components and UI for satellite ground communications.
• Investigate and resolve production issues in operational environments.
