Job summary
Peraton is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design and develop core platform services that support secure, scalable satellite ground communications for U.S. Government missions.
You will build backend microservices on public cloud platforms, implement APIs, and drive automation, testing, and reliable service operations. You will contribute to frontend interfaces with modern tooling, participate in code reviews, and work with MBSE and Test teams to ensure alignment of requirements,
Qualifications
- Advanced backend development with Python for APIs and services.
- Experience with microservices, security, and scalable architectures.
- Familiarity with RBAC/ABAC and zero-trust concepts.
Responsibilities
- Build multi-tenant backend services on AWS.
- Architect, develop and consume APIs with focus on security and maintainability.
- Translate requirements into technical designs and SPECS.
- Collaborate with MBSE and Test teams to align requirements and models.
- Develop back-end components in Python and UI components for front-end use.
- Implement authentication/authorization and service-to-service communication.
- Investigate production issues with structured diagnostics and testing.
- Support customer and partner integration during platform deployment.
