AppFolio is hiring a senior-level full-stack Software Engineer to join our Leasing Engineering Team. You will shape the technical direction for our SaaS products, delivering high-quality, scalable web solutions for thousands of customers.

You will lead end-to-end initiatives, mentor engineers, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure robust, maintainable systems and rapid delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and scaling web apps in SaaS.
• Experience leading end-to-end technical projects.
• Proficiency across full stack and modern languages.
• Familiar with Agile, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Strong problem-solving and maintainable design focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, web-based solutions to solve complex business problems at scale.
• Lead by example in design, coding, and architecture; mentor and coach other engineers.
• Formulate, implement, and optimize algorithms and database queries for SaaS scalability and performance.
• Design and deliver new features with robustness and maintainability in mind.
• Drive test-driven development and continuous integration practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, product managers, designers, and researchers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Champion agile practices to deliver at a rapid pace.
• Proactively research and apply new technologies to improve system quality.
