Job summary

AppFolio is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Mixed Portfolio Foundation team. You will own foundational architecture across affordable/student housing and more, building scalable SaaS solutions for thousands of customers.

You will mentor peers, drive best practices, and help shape technical direction while delivering robust web-based features with Rails, React, MySQL, and AWS in a fast-paced agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building web-based applications (SaaS preferred).
• Experience designing complex data models and scalable architectures.
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails, React, MySQL, AWS, and SOA.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the foundational architecture for multiple property types.
• Build scalable, robust web solutions and mentor other engineers.
• Drive code quality through reviews, tests, and CI, while collaborating with product and QA.
