Job summary

Realtor.com seeks a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our high-performance engineering organization as a full-time, hands-on contributor. You’ll be embedded in cross-functional teams owning critical segments of our consumer ecosystem, from backend microservices to frontend experiences, delivering high-traffic features.

You’ll drive quality with well-tested code, own observability and reliability, and leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong full-stack capabilities across backend, API design, frontend, and cloud/DevOps

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-traffic features across the full vertical stack (backend, APIs, frontend, infrastructure).
• Write well-tested, production-ready code and enforce test automation standards (unit, integration, E2E).
• Own observability, SLOs, monitoring, and incident response readiness for services.
• Ensure data integrity and secure engineering practices for sensitive data.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
