Realtor.com in Austin is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the News & Insights team, focusing on backend-heavy features and cross-functional collaboration.

You'll own full-stack work from design through production, work with Node.js, TypeScript, React/Next.js, and APIs, and contribute to platform reliability and AI-powered content experiences. This role blends high-traffic engineering with scalable backend services and close partnerships with Product and editorial teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with backend focus.
• Experience owning full-stack features from design to production.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience; Node.js preferred.
• Experience with React/Next.js.
• Experience designing and operating RESTful APIs or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Build and expand consumer-facing features across frontend and backend.
• Contribute to React and Next.js features, especially across stack boundaries.
• Own full-stack work from design through testing, release, and production support.
• Collaborate with Product and editorial teams to shape priorities.
