Job summary

Realtor.com® is seeking a collaborative Senior Software Engineer to join the RDC Plus team. You will help define work, drive architecture, and deliver scalable backend and frontend solutions that power millions of users of our real estate platform.

You will mentor engineers, work with product and design, and apply agentic AI capabilities to improve code quality while collaborating across teams to solve business problems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture and development.
• Experience with Python or TypeScript and other OO languages.
• Knowledge of distributed systems across cloud providers (AWS preferred).
• Experience with Postgres and document stores (DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• Frontend web or app development experience.
• Agentic AI code generation experience is a plus.
• Data-driven with focus on shipping code and iteration.
• Strong communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Define work and drive technical decisions for complex features.
• Collaborate across teams to solve problems from ideation to release.
• Architect consumer and agent experiences using clean architecture.
• Drive scalable architecture for a first-class mobile product.
• Mentor junior engineers.
