Realtor.com is seeking Backend Software Engineers to join our team. At Realtor, our technology team participates in the research and development of scalable applications, identifying new technologies and trends to enhance our products and business.

We build innovative solutions to help customers in their buying, renting, and selling journeys by connecting them with real estate agents and partners. You’ll use AI coding assistants and LLMs to accelerate development, while applying strong judgment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with Python, React, Node.js, Next.js, Nestjs, PostgreSQL, GraphQL.
• Experience with relational or non-relational databases.
• AI, Machine Learning and AWS knowledge preferred.
• Strong focus on delivering high value to customers quickly with feedback.
• Software engineering best practices (testing, code reviews, documentation).
• Experience in developing scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in system architecture and design review.
• Develop solutions that are of high quality, scalable, and reliable.
• Work collaboratively in squads composed of Product Managers, Designers, Analysts, and Engineers.
• Investigate and prototype technologies that can be leveraged to introduce innovations.
• Be self-directed, take initiative, and drive towards solutions with guidance.
