Collectors Universe, Inc. is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to build and evolve backend services, APIs, and frontend experiences for a scalable marketplace platform.

You’ll craft data models, APIs, and UI features while collaborating across Product and Engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. You will work primarily on backend systems with meaningful frontend ownership, leverage Docker/Kubernetes on AWS, and apply AI tooling such as Claude to accelerate architecture while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in production applications.
• Strong backend focus with frontend delivery experience.
• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• APIs and service integrations for scalable product development.
• Frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript/React/NextJS.
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud experience with AWS and serverless (Lambda).
• Experience with distributed messaging systems like Kafka.
• Experience with AI tooling, e.g. Claude, for design assistance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate across the full software development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Build backend services, APIs, and data models for customer-facing experiences.
• Develop frontend apps using React/NextJS to deliver seamless UX.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate requirements into designs.
• Troubleshoot data, integration, and UI issues in a large codebase.
• Contribute to technical documentation to improve maintainability.
• Promote code quality, observability, and engineering best practices.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate design and architecture while maintaining quality.
