You will design and build backend services on AWS, own end-to-end features, mentor teams, and leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining trust and performance. Onsite collaboration is valued for this role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering building web apps and APIs.
• Experience with service-oriented or microservice architectures.
• 3+ years AWS experience including serverless.
• Experience with AI tools in development workflows to boost velocity.
• Strong OOP fundamentals, design patterns, testing and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable cloud-based systems on AWS powering core platforms.
• Develop APIs and backend services enabling web and mobile journeys across buying, selling, authentication, and grading.
• Own technical architecture and delivery of end-to-end features with staff-level influence.
• Work on intricate grading/authentication workflows ensuring trust and accuracy at scale.
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of existing systems.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and explore new approaches.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring.
