Job summary

Collectors Universe, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Payments team to build and scale payment infrastructure across the ecosystem.

You will own end-to-end payment flows, gateway integrations, and secure operations, partnering with product, design, and cross-functional teams. You will work on backend APIs in C#/.NET and frontend experiences in React, Svelte, and TypeScript, ensuring accessible, conversion-optimized flows and high reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years engineering experience with backend and frontend.
• Experience designing, shipping and scaling products with business impact.
• Senior IC or leadership experience at a high-growth company preferred.
• Strong backend expertise in C#/.NET and frontend in React/TypeScript.
• Familiar with AWS, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve multi-gateway payment integrations with Stripe, PayPal and others.
• Develop backend payment services and APIs in C#/.NET and frontend UIs in React/Svelte/TypeScript.
• Apply PCI-DSS, tokenization, idempotency, retries and audits for security and resilience.
• Leverage AI tools across the SDLC to speed delivery and improve quality.
• Design distributed, event-driven services on AWS/Kubernetes with observability.
• Collaborate across Payments, Marketplace, Grading, Vault and platform teams.
