Job summary

Kustomer is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Engineering team. You will work in a pod of 3–5 engineers, ship end-to-end features, and contribute to architecture using Node.js, React, Golang, and AWS.

The role emphasizes AI-powered capabilities and high-quality code across front-end and back-end components. You will collaborate with design, product, and other engineers, strive for performance, and participate in code reviews, testing, and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive software development experience.
• Comfortable working across frontend and backend.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Strong architectural and craft mindset.
• Hands-on with AI developer tools (e.g., Cursor or Claude Code).
• Ability to diagnose and debug complex issues and optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Ship full-stack features end-to-end as part of a pod.
• Develop APIs and integrate with external services and databases.
• Build front-end interfaces focusing on UX, responsiveness, and accessibility.
• Design and build AI-powered features to improve user experience and efficiency.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and Pod Lead on requirements and design.
• Offer production support and participate in on-call and bug triage.
