Realtor.com is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the News & Insights team. You’ll own server-side systems and contribute to frontend features across React and Next.js, Node.js/TypeScript, and APIs for a high-traffic consumer platform.

You'll design, implement, and maintain backend services, focus on performance, reliability, and scalable data flows, and work closely with Product, editorial stakeholders, and other engineers to ship impactful features.

Qualifications

• Experience building large-scale web applications across frontend and backend.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js/TypeScript and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with React and Next.js and performance tuning.
• Ability to design scalable backend services and data flows.

Responsibilities

• Build and expand consumer-facing features across the frontend and backend.
• Develop and maintain Node.js and TypeScript services, GraphQL schemas, persisted queries, and RESTful APIs.
• Own server-side data flows and make sound decisions around service boundaries, performance, and maintainability.
• Contribute to logging, monitoring, incident response, and production reliability; collaborate in Agile ceremonies.
