Realtor.com in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Content team, building data-centric, scalable backend services and data pipelines powering content ingestion and publishing to millions of users.

You will work across the full stack, apply AI-driven solutions to improve data quality and developer efficiency, and mentor engineers while aligning technical work with business goals. Our team values collaboration and in‑person work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing web applications, web services, and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and at least one compiled language.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architectures and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineers to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Lead by example to improve code quality, efficiency, and predictability.
• Mentor engineers across levels and foster ownership and excellence.
• Design and maintain scalable frontend and backend features for content tools.
• Develop data pipelines and distributed systems on AWS.
• Apply AI and automation to improve data quality and observability.
