Job summary

Amplitude is building the operating system for digital products. We’re seeking a Product Engineer to help take Statsig to the next level, working across NextJS and Node.js to deliver AI-powered experiences and scalable frontend/backend systems.

You will own critical product surfaces end-to-end, collaborate with design and product, and mentor others while shipping high-quality code in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role includes equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack scope.
• Strong React and backend experience (Node.js and/or Python).
• AI tooling experience or curiosity with practical impact.

Responsibilities

• Own critical product surfaces end-to-end from ideation to production and beyond.
• Drive product direction in partnership with design and product leaders.
• Build and evolve systems across React and Node.js that scale with customer growth.
• Leverage modern AI tooling to accelerate development and iteration cycles.
• Raise the bar for engineering quality in code, architecture, and UX.
• Lead by example through hands-on development and mentorship.
• Move fast on ambiguous problems to ship customer-facing value.
